Selection Process

Jindal Global University (JGU) pursues a holistic admissions policy for most programmes. A holistic admissions policy seeks to understand the whole applicants beyond numbers and asks whether a applicant will be a good fit in a programme and whether will they thrive. This is in keeping with best practices of international universities and allows us to select the best applicants for our programmes.

Applicants for postgraduate Programmes (excepting 3-Year LLB and MBA) will go through the following process: (Students appearing in their final year in 2019 can also apply)

Applicants will need to log-in at and submit the following:

Personal Statement


Supplemental Questions


Graduate Scores or Equivalent


Passport Size Photograph


Application Fee


Applicants will be notified if they have “Advanced to Round 2” or “Rejected”

Applicants who have advanced to Round 2 after will need to do the Following:


Appear in Open Book Test on the selected date-


Declaration of result within 7 working days.


Issuance of Admission Offer Letter based on the performance in OBT







Applicants will be notified if they have “Advanced to Round 3 or Selected” have been “Rejected”, or “Placed on the Waitlist”

Applicants who have advanced to Round 3 will receive a Provisional Offer of Admissions pending Graduation Result or Equivalent and Any Additional Information required by the school.

Successful Applicants are required to pay the Refundable Registration Fee* for their programme to secure their seat by the deadline and to become eligible for the Interview.

Applicants who would like to apply for a scholarship will submit their documentation for consideration at this time.

Faculty Interview (In Person or Remotely to judge eligibility of Scholarship) *

 (Would recommend students to schedule their Personal round of Interview at Campus)

Once all these are received, a applicant will receive a Final Offer of Admissions.
